I would like to say that, I'm feeling very privileged having witnessed one of the most #unique and #amazing #Waterfalls of #Westernghats of #Karnataka... This Waterfalls is really a one of it's kind... This falls has to be right up there with the best...
A 15 TIERED WATERFALLS, 07 KILOMETERS LONG (from top tier till base) WITH 800 FEET HEIGHT!!!! Isn't that mind-blowing????
I would like to thank, Krishna Sir and also Mahabala & Narayana (localites of that village) along with Ravichandra and Rama (these 02 guys who are studying 06th Std, were actually my guide to this Waterfalls!!) for helping me to visit and experience one of the most mind-boggling waterfalls you would ever come across...
I left Belgaum by night 12:30 AM bus and reached that village by 07:00 AM... After fresh-up, we left the house by 09:30 in morning and returned by 05:00 in evening... Total trekking distance was about 06 Kms one way out of which 04 kilometers of stream walk, took me 03 hours one way, which is all most one hour for one kilometre of stream walk, such was the terrain there... We had to walk along with the falls itself
The most difficult & tantalizing part of the trekking was getting down and climbing up from 05th tier to 08th tier... Really scary...
As said above, the uniqueness of this Waterfalls is that from origin till base it flows for about 07 kilometers and we have to trek along with it itself, there is no other way to visit this falls... We cannot see this falls if we trek in the forest... This is also the second toughest trekking experience in my life after the Aghanashini valley trek... By the time I came back to my guide's house, I was really done and dusted... Worth each and every step...
